Max will now start in P2, but it looks like his race addiction is not over yet. After the qualifying session, Verstappen went straight to his simulator. But it's not an F1 Simulator, it's a WEC simulator, as he had a sim racing competition on the same day as the Imola GP qualifying day.

He is a member of Team Redline, which is an online Sim Racing team. Verstappen is one of their drivers, and they needed Max Verstappen for the iRacing competition, which is the highest level of Sim racing esports. As we all know, Verstappen is more interested in GT cars, and after retiring from Formula 1, he is expected to head straight to the Endurance competitions. Recently, he took part in a test at the dangerous Nurburgring race track in Germany and set the fastest lap time.

Max Verstappen is the only driver who is a master of all categories. Usually, a single-seater racing driver will struggle while driving a double-seater racing car. But, Max is built differently, and all these years of his Sim racing have helped him to set the fastest lap time in a GT3 car.

Even during the iRacing competition, he led his team with the fastest lap times, and that too after finishing P2 in the real world competition. This proves Max is something else, and his talent is unmatchable. Some F1 legends say Max Verstappen is the greatest F1 driver of all time and has surpassed Ayrton Senna in terms of pure racing talent. Max Verstappen will start in P2 behind Oscar Piastri and ahead of George Russell. The Red Bull car doesn't have the pace and balance that Verstappen expects, but he is staying at the top because of his pure talent.
