The 2025 Spanish Grand Prix would end Yamaha’s long-standing drought in MotoGP. Former world champion Fabio Quartararo showed a glimpse of hope for the Japanese motor giant in the sprint race. But everything ended with a crash after a tough battle against the mighty Ducati and Marc Marquez. As Ducati-powered bikes have dominated MotoGP in the last few years, only Yamaha and KTM are showing some fights against the Italians.

Honda and Aprilia have yet to show their full might against the rest of the teams. Today, Quartararo will start from the pole position against Marc Marquez. Can he break the wall and enter the gates of speed against Marc Marquez? We have some predictions and expectations for today's race, and let us see them one by one.
Here are the predictions for the 2025 Motogp Spanish Grand Prix
1. Mighty Marc Marquez will win again

The Spanish rider has always been the best when it comes to close battles. Even yesterday, he made it past Quartararo and his Yamaha with ease and without much trouble. He has the best equipment, and even his teammate Bagania has no clue how he is doing all that. So Jerez is waiting to see one more victory for its homeboy, Marc Marquez.
2. Fabio Quartararo is taking calculated risks
Unlike yesterday, Fabio will be more careful with his pace and cornering. He knows the Ducatis are the faster bikes on the straights, and the only chance he has to defend his position is in the corners. The Yamaha bike needs to be well balanced to go aggressively through the corners, and Quartararo will be taking calculated risks in today's race.
3. Maverick Vinales to carry KTM
Other than Yamaha and Ducati, KTM is the only brand that has big hopes despite having a bleak future in MotoGP. Maverick Vinales was outstanding during the night race in Qatar, and can he do the same in Jerez? The former MotoGP winner is now driving for the Austrian team, and he has all the experience to give a tough fight.
We are expecting both Honda drivers to finish inside the points table. The Japanese auto manufacturer is now out of the competition, but they still have great riders like Joan Mir and Luca Marini who can score some valuable points for the team.
5. Ai Ogura to continue his good run
The Japanese rider is impressive in every race with consistency and pace compared with many other senior and rookie riders. He is leading the points table for his team, TrackHouse Racing. Even in the sprint race, he showed great composure and grit to score points for his team. So he is expected to score big in the main race.
