WATCH: Lewis Hamilton spotted with Sofia Vergara; sparks dating rumours

Dating rumours were fuelled by the actress Sofia Vergara's widely shared photo from her lunch meeting with Formula One star Lewis Hamilton in New York. The 40-year-old Formula One driver and the 52-year-old Modern Family actor sat together at a restaurant with some friends in the photo. In one of the widely shared images, Sofia and Lewis were seen conversing as the Formula One racer left to bid the actor farewell.

After a two-hour lunch, Lewis Hamilton and Sofia Vergara appeared to be in a good mood as they conversed on the sidewalk. In the meantime, Sofia has been connected to several younger men throughout the years, such as her 48-year-old second husband Joe Manganiello and her 49-year-old ex-fiance Nick Loeb. Sofia discussed dating in New York vs Los Angeles, according to US Weekly, stating, "I was just talking about it yesterday because now I’m single... kind of single."

Lewis dated Nicole Scherzinger in 2007 until their final split in 2015. He has since been connected to supermodels like Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid, and he has even been forced to refute rumours of a romance with Rihanna. Meanwhile, Hamilton is about to embark on a pivotal stage in his Formula One career.

A new challenge awaits Lewis Hamilton

In 2025, the seven-time world champion who turned 40 in January will be a Ferrari driver. After 12 years with Mercedes, where he won six of his seven titles, the British driver made the historic decision. On February 18, Lewis Hamilton will make his long-awaited debut as a Ferrari driver in the F175 race. At London’s O2 Arena, he is anticipated to make his public debut wearing Ferrari colours.

With Mercedes, he came in seventh place during the 2024 Drivers standings. Beginning with the Australian Grand Prix in March 2025, Lewis Hamilton will pair with new driving partner Charles Leclerc and aim to make a great impact with Ferrari. The 2025 season is full of new challenges for both Hamilton and Ferrari.
