Hamilton, set to leave Mercedes and join Ferrari in 2024, has already started making waves beyond the track. While his appearance at the LA red carpet event was a show of star power, his impending move to Ferrari promises to transform not just the team’s racing fortunes but also its commercial clout.

Here is the video:

Reports suggest Lewis Hamilton’s unparalleled marketability will benefit Ferrari similarly to how it boosted Mercedes. During his time with the Brackley-based outfit, Hamilton’s influence secured major sponsorships, including a partnership with Tommy Hilfiger in 2018. As per Autoracer, the American fashion giant will follow Hamilton to Ferrari, marking the end of its association with Mercedes.

A huge sponsorship loss for Mercedes!

Monster Energy, another long-time Mercedes sponsor, is also expected to align with Hamilton’s move to the iconic Italian team. Monster’s relationship with Mercedes dates back to the team’s F1 entry in 2010, but Hamilton’s magnetic appeal seems to be a driving factor in its switch.

"The recruitment of Lewis Hamilton is also a major marketing move for Ferrari, making the seven-time world champion one of its image ambassadors," noted a report. Ferrari, a name synonymous with motorsport prestige, will amplify Hamilton’s brand efforts, including his non-alcoholic tequila, Almave. Launched in 2023, Almave caters to those seeking sophisticated drinking alternatives, and Ferrari’s global platform could skyrocket its reach.

Hamilton’s move is not merely a driver signing; it’s a partnership with vast potential, combining the most commercially successful driver in F1 history with the sport’s most decorated team. While Hamilton will compete in three more races with Mercedes before officially donning the scarlet Ferrari overalls, the buzz surrounding this collaboration has already begun to rewrite the F1 narrative.
