The 2025 Formula 1 season will be historic as former F1 world champion Lewis Hamilton will drive for a non-Mercedes team, Ferrari. Hamilton started his career with McLaren where he used a Mercedes engine and won a world title with them. Next, he moved to Mercedes in 2013 and had the most successful partnership in history winning 6 world titles.
After more than one and half decades with Mercedes, Lewis will try a Ferrari for the first time. He will join Charles Leclerc making them the strongest driving pair of the season. Both are very quick and we can witness a Senna- Prost kind of battle soon. The Monegasque driver finished this year in third place next to Max verstappen and Lando Norris. He was also there during the FIA awards event in Rwanda. Ferrari made good progress this year and became the second-fastest team beating Red Bull.
Experts believe Ferrari could challenge for both driver and constructor titles next year. With the seven-time champion by their side, it's obvious that Red Bull's season next year won't be that easy. But before challenging verstappen and Norris for his 8th world title Lewis has to defeat his teammate Charles.

Many Tifosi are waiting for the team battle between Leclerc and Hamilton and are eager to know who will dominate the other first. The 8-time race winner finally spoke about Lewis coming to the team and said “For the team, Lewis is a legend of our sport, and he’s achieved so much, and is different teams as well.
He’s achieved so much in McLaren, he’s also achieved so much in Mercedes, and now that he comes to Ferrari, with all his knowledge, all his experience, will help a lot to the team and will push forward the team.” Charles was also asked about the challenges he is going to face with Lewis as his teammate and added “And same for me, he will push me forward for sure, with his talent being able to look at the data, knowing that whatever he does inside this car, I can do because we’ve got now the same car. It's going to be a big challenge, and I’m very motivated for that.”
