The United States Grand Prix officially started with the sprint race in the COTA circuit, which brought Red Bul and Max Verstappen back to winning ways. Verstappen was back in the competition after the last seven races which were nightmares for both Red Bull and him. He outperformed his title rival, Lando Norris, who was very impressive throughout the sprint race but lost his position to Carlos Sainz on the final lap. He has now won 11 sprint races out of 16.

The Battle between the Red Bull's

The main octane point of this race was between Red Bull’s Sergio Perez and Junior Red Bull team driver Yuki Tsunoda. They both gave us some clean intense racing during the sprint as they battled for the Top 10 finish. Sergio Perez didn't have a good qualifying he started P11 on the grid and he was very determined to finish inside the points table. Both raced hard at the overtaking zones of turn 13, 14, 15 and 16 coming back and forth and catching the corners from each other.

But the senior Red Bull driver is too fast for Yuki Tsunoda and finally, he gives up the place for Perez. But this High-octane battle with Tsunoda has cost Perez some of his tyres and he was forced to hold his place from further moving up as the two Haas moved away from his reach.

Talking about the battle with Yuki Tsunoda of the RB team Perez said “I was expecting, to be honest, more pace. It was quite hard to get, in the beginning, by Yuki, and once that happened, their race was too far away from the Hasses.”

Checo was also saying he needs to take advantage of the rules that allow cars to make changes before the qualifying starts. Both the Red Bulls finished inside the points table and they now close the gap with McLaren to 39 points in the constructor's title.
