The most unexpected battle that happened during the Miami GP was between Sir Lewis Hamilton and Esteban Ocon. Lewis was driving a Factory Ferrari car while Ocon drove a customer Ferrari-powered Haas F1 car. The French driver qualified ninth ahead of Lewis Hamilton, who started P12. But in the race, Lewis Hamilton had a faster car as it was a Ferrari F1 car compared with Ocon's.
But the Frenchman was fighting hard against the seven-time world champion and was not willing to give up his position. After the lights went out, Lewis Hamilton was flying and was desperate to enter the top 10. The Miami circuit is a difficult track to keep the car inside the track limits. It has many twisty corners and bends that make it hard for the drivers to take a risky overtake.

Lewis was chasing Esteban Ocon and thought he could pass him easily with minimal to no fight. But the Haas driver surprised Hamilton with all his efforts, and after some hard racing, the ferrari driver got past the Haas driver. Laura Mueller, Formula 1’s first female race engineer, was guiding Ocon on his defence against Hamilton. A video shows Laura getting more nervous as Hamilton tries to pass Ocon in Miami.

She was instructing Esteban Ocon on his fight, and at the same time she cant watch her driver lose the battle against the seven time world champion. The german race engineer is doing a great job at Haas f1 team. She was promoted to a race engineer before the 2025 season start. Esteban Ocon is an experienced driver and is performing well for the Haas F1 team.
Ocon and Laura are doing a great job of bringing necessary points to their team. Esteban is leading the championship battle against his teammate Bearman. The French driver is standing ninth in the championship table. We are expecting more of such kind of battle from the Haas team.
