Carlos Sainz the Ferrari driver crashed at the Singapore GP’s Final Qualifying session. He was out on a flying lap after he lost grip and crashed straight into the wall. Carlos Sainz backed off when Oscar Piastri was crossing to get himself some space. He was lining up for the hot lap in the final corner. But while restarting sainz lost his backend and then he slid into the wall.

Sainz Costs Verstappen's lap

Max Verstappen set the fastest qualifying lap in Q3 but due to Sainz's crash his lap time got deleted. He set the fastest time of 1.29.791 faster than Oscar Piastri. But as Verstappen was crossing the finish line it was the yellow flag and his lap time was deleted. Now again he has to set his fastest lap time. Piastri set his fastest time of  1.30.037 seconds. Max was quicker than McLaren’s Oscar piastri. Max even questioned why his lap time got deleted.

Singapore GP well known for tight corners and less grip again shows why it is one of the toughest grand prix in te Formula 1 calender. The race was without any crash for the First qualifier and second qualifier. Max will be hopeful of setting the fastest lap time after the restart. Carlos Sainz's qualifier ended with a crash and he left the Ferrari mechanics with a lot of work to do tonight.
