WATCH: Fernando Alonso goes all-American roaming in Monaco with a Ford GT Heritage

Fernando Alonso has lived in Monaco since his debut in F1 and is one of the richest drivers. The Spaniard is seen driving a Golden coloured Ford GT Heritage car.

Aston Martin driver Fernando Alonso is enjoying his time in Monaco with a brand-new Ford GT Heritage. The Spaniard is roaming around the town in the American muscle car. Alonso completed the 2024 season finishing 9th in the driver's championship and helping his team Aston Martin finish fifth with his impressive performance.

He is the prime contributor for his team as his teammate Lance Stroll looked off-shore the whole season. The Happiest moment for Aston Martin in 2024 was the signing of Car designer guru Adrian Newey as the managing technical partner. The Designer was the most successful person in Formula 1 with 12 constructors and 13 drivers championships. He worked at Williams, and McLaren before moving to Red Bull in the 2006 season. His RB19 is the most successful car he designed as Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez have won 21 races out of 22 in the 2023 F1 season.

In June last year, Adrian Newey announced he would move to a new team for the 2024 season. He had two teams in mind one was Ferrari and the Aston Martin. After many negotiations, Lawrence Stroll successfully made the deal with Newey offering him a package he couldn't refuse.

He would be the Managing technical partner and would hold some of the shares in the company. Aston Martin is a well-known brand around the world and it is very famous for its high-end sports car and also being James Bond’s key weapon. Newey also had a dream to work with Fernando Alonso and that is also one of the reasons he moved to Aston Martin. The Spanish driver already has two world titles and he is the oldest driver on the grid. He wants his third title and he believes Adrian Newey could help him win that.

But before that, he enjoys his off-season driving a Ford GT Heritage. The car was created to honour the American brand's 1960 24hLeMans win. It has a 5.4-litre Supercharged V8 engine with 647 HP power and 7-speed transmission. The car's top speed is 347 KMPH and it's a two-seater.
