Ferrari's star driver, Charles Leclerc, has selected acclaimed Hollywood actor Timothée Chalamet to portray him in any film depicting his life. This revelation came during an engaging moment with a young fan in the paddock at the 2024 British Grand Prix.

Leclerc, a prominent figure in the Formula 1 world, commands a massive global following, especially among the passionate Tifosi who support Ferrari. Known for his skill on the racetrack, Leclerc’s choice of an actor to represent him in a movie piqued the interest of fans and media alike.

Here is the video:

During a casual walk through the Silverstone paddock, a young fan's question prompted Leclerc to reflect momentarily before naming the Hollywood star. In a recent interview with SportBible before the British GP, Leclerc elaborated on his choice.

When asked by presenter Maz Mirzadeh who could play him in a film, Leclerc mentioned, "There are two people that come up quite often on social media. I mean, the people that look like me... Timothée Chalamet and Noah Schnapp."

Timothée Chalamet, renowned for his roles in films such as "Dune," "Call Me by Your Name," "Little Women," and the upcoming "Wonka," has gained substantial recognition and popularity in Hollywood. Noah Schnapp, known for his role in the web series "Stranger Things" and films like "Bridge of Spies" and "The Peanuts Movie," was also considered by Leclerc due to their perceived resemblance.

Charles Leclerc continues to disappoint

Leclerc’s recent performance at the British GP, however, was a stark contrast to the excitement surrounding his Hollywood choice. The Monegasque driver had a challenging weekend, qualifying in 11th place and finishing 14th after grappling with changing weather conditions and a problematic pitstop strategy.

Discussing the issues with Formula1.com, Leclerc expressed his concerns about Ferrari's current performance. He emphasized the need for his team to analyze their challenges thoroughly and strategize better for future races. Leclerc acknowledged that their car, the SF-24, significantly lags behind top teams like Red Bull, McLaren, and Mercedes.
