Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz were united again at the 2025 Australian Grand Prix during the driver's press meet. The fan-favourite driver pair got separated last year with the arrival of Lewis Hamilton to Ferrari. The two best friends and former teammates met during the driver's press meet and were seen having a serious discussion regarding the race weekend in Australia. Leclerc should have wondered how Sainz is performing well with a Williams car compared to him in a Ferrari.

Sainz's world was turned upside down from being in the most successful team to no man’s land. After many months of hard work, the Spanish driver landed a deal with the Williams Racing team. He is now their number one driver alongside Alex Albon.
On the other hand, Charles Leclerc's image of being the number one driver at Ferrari was over with the arrival of the seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton. Last year’s Abu Dhabi Grand Prix was the last race Leclerc and Sainz raced as teammates, where they managed to finish on the podium with P2 and P3.
But Carlos is known for bringing results to whichever team he goes to, and he is doing the same with Williams's team. The British team, out of nowhere, managed to become the quickest team on the grid, with Carlos Sainz leading the table during the Free practice sessions in Melbourne.
The two Williams drivers are predicted to finish inside the top 10 in qualifying and in the race. The Williams Racing team listens to Carlos Sainz's voice and his inputs seriously as he's got the experience of working in a Ferrari before.
They seem to have found the magic to go quicker and are expected to become the top midfielder this year. This is what shows in their results at the 2025 Australian Grand Prix. Charles Leclerc, on the other hand, is leading his teammate, Lewis Hamilton, in all the sessions as he has more experience driving a Ferrari.
