The Williams F1 had a very poor outing in the Canadian Grand Prix on Sunday. Both of their drivers were involved in some crazy crashes which forced them to end their race prematurely. Firstly Logan Sargeant spun off while a collision with Carlos Sainz crashed out Alex Albon from the race.
However, until the hiatus, Albon was looking well poised to earn a point for his team. He was making some amazing moves on a wet track which left fans and commentators in awe. One of his best moves came when he smartly overtook two cars.

The video of the incident went viral on social media as fans and experts called it one of the best of the season.
Williams failed to perform at Canadian Grand Prix 2024
Despite some iconic moves and a well-poised race Alex Albon and Williams were unlucky on Lap 54. A poor move from Ferrari driver Carlos Sainz, who spun in a wet kerb, hit Albon from behind. This smashed Albon’s William into the barriers and him out of the race.

Meanwhile, this weekend also marked the second consecutive failure for Sergio Perez who recently received a two-year contract expansion from the Red Bull racings. He mirrored his Monaco Grand Prix performance in Montreal. Going ahead he also received a three-grid penalty from stewards for unsafe driving.
It happened after the Albon incident when he tried to drive his car into the pits to avoid a safety car situation which might have troubled race leader Max Verstappen. Red Bull Racing was also fined for the same as their race director asked Perez to do so.
