2024 is over, and we are now in a new year. This will be the most exciting season for Formula 1 in recent times because it will be the final year of the hybrid era. Also, some big changes made by the teams last year added more fuel to our excitement. The season will start in March, but before that, we made some of the bravest predictions of F1 2025.

Top 10 Bold Predictions of F1 2025

10. Yuki Tsunoda escapes Red Bull

The Japanese driver, despite performing well for the Milton Keynes team, Yuki Tsunoda, hasn’t received any token of appreciation or promotion from his management. Even this year, they promoted the debutant Liam Lawson in place of Sergio Perez, sidelining the Japanese. So we predict this year will be the final year for Yuki with Red Bull. The Honda and Red Bull Partnership ending this year almost confirms that.

9. Intra-Team Battles

2025 will be a fun-to-watch season as we predict intra-team battles in many Formula 1 teams. Particularly saying Ferrari, McLaren, Red Bull, RB Bulls, and Haas F1. The biggest team fight we expect is between Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton. Followed by Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris.

8. The Rise of Oscar Piastri

The Australian driver will have the best season of his life this year. We will see him finish on the podium more often this time and even fight for the Formula 1 title. The Aussie is predicted to be the driver of the year 2025. Surely Lando norris will have a tough time having Piastri as his teammate.

7. Has Resurgence

Midfield this year will have a new winner, and that is predicted to be Haas F1. The reason is simple they have a very good team structure that was better than many front-line teams. Ayao Komatsu’s leadership will be the key to their success this year having two new drivers in their team also be an advantage as both wanted to prove themselves.

6. Lawson's headache

Red Bull leadership will have another tough year. But this time the reason will be Liam Lawson. The New Zealander is very aggressive, like his teammate Max verstappen and unlike Sergio Perez, he will be involved more in the fight against Max. So managing him will be a headache for the Milton Keynes team.

5. Mercedes will be No. 3

In the last two seasons, the Mercedes F1 team showed development in their car performance and power. So this year they will finish in No. 3, pushing Red Bull to No 4 in the constructors championship. Losing key members to rivals will be a big disadvantage for the Austrian team.

4. Max Verstappen to follow Red Bull's history

The biggest upset we are predicting this season is Max Verstappen losing the title. He will follow Red Bull’s history of losing the title after 4 consecutive wins. The reason will be the machine and not the man. He should also be ready to face more critics talking about his driving style.

Even if Max Verstappen showed dominance by winning some of the races he cannot keep the consistency. Rivals like McLaren, Mercedes and Ferrari will be becoming more fierce this time and defending the title will not be easy for the Dutchman. Verstappen should bring his best of the best this time to win his fifth title or else he will lose out.

3. Leclerc to come on top of Lewis

After all the high expectations and drama that happened last year over Lewis Hamilton moving to Ferrari, Charles Leclerc will still be the number 1 driver in Ferrari. We predict the Monegasque to dominate the British driver in the 2025 season.

The reason is simple: Leclerc knows the Italian team better than Hamilton and will use that to his advantage. But it is Lewis Hamilton man! He is the GOAT F1 driver and could also slap our predictions to our faces at the end of this season. Leclerc is also expected to be the runner-up this season.

2. Ferrari, the title winners

After 2008, the oldest F1 team is predicted to win this year's constructors championship. Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc as teammates are the strongest pair this year. The two will bring consistency to the team and with their help Ferrari become champions.

1. New drivers champion

McLaren's Lando Norris will be the first Formula 1 champion for the team since Lewis Hamilton in 2008. He has the fastest car on the grid. We don't see many changes this year, and with the support of his team, we predict him to win the championship.

Last year he missed out because he came very late to the party, and Max verstappen already made a big gap. Norris will look to take advantage from the very first race of this year and by giving more consistency he could clinch his first Formula 1 title.
