McLaren boss Zak Brown has spoken ahead of the Las Vegas Grand Prix in Nevada. He urged Max Verstappen to stay within his limits and also urged his driver Lando Norris to show Max ‘the limits’ but in a clean way without breaking the regulations. Unlike the last two years, Max Verstappen has been made to work for his world title this year. The Dutchman is leading the world championship by 62 points and can win the title if he wins in Las Vegas this weekend.
Lando and Max were very close friends until this year. It all started in Austria at the Red Bull ring when they went wheel-to-wheel racing against each other and ended up complaining about each other's actions. Both drivers suffered tyre punctures due to other actions. In Austin, Norris and Verstappen again battled and Norris was given a penalty for crossing the track when racing against Max. In Mexico, it started to burn big as Max Verstappen pushed Lando off the track and was given 10-second penalty.

McLaren boss warning a reminder
The McLaren boss has called for an immediate cease-fire between Lando and Max Verstappen. The McLaren boss wants the race to happen legally without breaking regulations and crossing the limits. He also warned if the pushing to the limit saga continues then it will end like Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen's title fight in 2021.
Zak Brown said, “The world has changed. More transparent. Today, admitting weakness is a strength. We all have them. Lando drove brilliantly in Austin. The only thing he could have done differently would have been to drive into Max’s car. But that’s not our style, and not Lando’s either.
After all, it has triggered a big discussion about the rules of the game. That’s also necessary. Lando drives hard but fair. Max is an incredible racing driver who pushes the rules to the limit. But you have to show him where the limits are. If that’s not done, there will be scenes like the one between Lewis and Max in 2021, when Lewis said to himself: ‘Enough is enough’. I don’t think we want to go back to that.” McLaren has a final chance at the Las Vegas Grand Prix to stop Max Verstappen from winning his fourth title and extend the title fight till the Qatar GP. Max Verstappen needs to score 3 points more than Lando Norris to seal his 4th title.
