The Mexican Grand prix qualifying is complete with Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz being the fastest on the grid. The Spaniard set the fastest lap time of 1.15.946 in the final qualifying session. He was followed by Red Bull’s Max Verstappen who finished second with 1.16.171 lap time. Sainz was in complete control until the end of the session ahead of Verstappen and Norris.

Carlos Sainz Strong Performance

The Spaniard was very fast all weekend without making any mistakes during both practice and Qualifying. The third position was taken by McLaren’s Lando Norris who finished the qualifying after setting a time of 1.16.260 lap time. He is followed by Ferrari's Charles Leclerc and Mercedes's George Russell. Leclerc was very fast in the straights and managed to finish fourth ahead of the two Mercedes drivers. Kevin Magnussen was very good today at the qualifying as he finished seventh ahead of Pierre Gasly who was eighth. Alex Albon of Williams and Nico Hulkenberg completed the top ten grid with the final two finishes.

The 11th and 12th positions were taken by Yuki Tsunoda and his teammate Liam Lawson after putting all their hard work into the Q2 session. The two Aston Martins of Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll ended in 13th and 14th places respectively. Valtteri Bottas of Kick Sauber finished 15th. The biggest shocks of the qualifying session were Oscar Piastri and Sergio Perez who were both out of the Qualifying session 1 after losing to Track limits. Oscar Piatsri was the best driver in Practice session 3 but he somehow missed his chances in qualifying.

Perez who was running his home race lost the Q1 session after struggling with his car’s braking and low-speed corners. The final two drivers are Esteban Ocon and Zhou Guanyu. The race will start tomorrow as Max Verstappen and Lando Norris will be looking to take the lead in the first corner of the race. Verstappen is the only driver to win 5 Mexican Grand prix races. He is still seen as the favourite to win Tomorrow's race.

But Carlos sainz was very dominant all weekend so he will be looking to continue his good run and win the race. Ferrari will also look to surpass Red Bull in the constructors championship and with a strong finish to the Mexican GP its possible for them. The championship title is lead by Max Verstappen who is 57 points ahead of Lando Norris. Charles Leclerc is in third position for the title. The constructors championship is led by McLaren followed by Red Bull and Ferrari.
