The Formula 2 title is very much in the hands of Invicta Racing driver and future Audi Sauber driver Gabriel Bortoleto. He and Campos Racing driver Issac Hadjar are battling hard to become the new F2 world champion. The Qatar Grand prix is the final race and title decider for this year's Formula 2 championship.

Bortoleto would like to win the championship and carry the same confidence to the Audi Sauber F1 team next year. His rival I. Hadjar will be aiming for the Red Bull seat as he is the future of the Austrian Squad. Winning an F2 title and going to Red Bull next year will be the best gift he can give the Management which helped him grow as a racer.

Only 4.5 points separate Hadjar and Bortoleto from winning the F2 championship. The other driver Z. Maloney is 35+ points behind Bortoleto. Many F2 drivers in the current grid will be driving Formula 1 cars in the future. We already have Franco Colapinto driving the Williams car.

Olli Bearman will drive for Haas next year and Bortoleto recently signed for the Audi Sauber F1 team. Kimi Antonelli was already signed by the Mercedes team as Lewis Hamilton’s Replacement. Hadjar is in contention for the driver's seat in RB Bulls and Red Bull. The F2 championship is very important for both Hadjar and Bortoleto as they still have something to prove for themselves and their future teams.

But in the final race of the F2 championship, P. Aron came out of nowhere and spoiled the party for Bortoleto. The Brazilian driver looked very strong in the qualifying but Aron was unstoppable with his lap times and finished ahead of the future Sauber driver by setting a lap time of 1.35.115s

Bortoleto was second ahead of ART Grand prix driver V. Martins. His title rival I. Hadjar was 9th which is a good thing for the Brazilian as he could win his title in tomorrow's race quite comfortably if the table stays the same. The other drivers in the top 10 are D.Beganovic in 4th, R.Verschoor in 5th, J.Crawford in 6th, Kush Maini of India in 7th, O.Goethe in 8th and Oliver Bearman in 10th. Kimi Antonelli was 11th after the qualifying session.
