The Malaysian MotoGP race is finished and Ducati rider and reigning world champion Francesco Bagnaia showed one of the most spectacular performances in recent years with complete domination despite an early challenge from Jorge Martin. The opening lap was very tight between Jorge Martin and Francesco Bagnaia as the two great riders put on an incredible show for the fans. The two riders took the lead back and forth as the crash from behind stopped the race bringing a red flag.

After the restart, the two title contenders were charging at each other showing their maximum skills and giving a spectacle for the fans. But the Ducati Factory team rider was the winner as he took charge of the race after the first half till the end. The Italian won the Malaysian Grand Prix having set the fastest lap record here in the Same Sepang International circuit in qualifying. Jorge Martin finished second and Enea Bastianini finished third.

The MotoGP showdown will happen in Barcelona which is chosen as the alternate venue instead of Valencia this year. Jorge Martin can win his maiden world championship if he wins the Sprint race. His title chances are more or less sealed now before the final race. The other riders in the top 10 are Alex Marquez (Gresini Racing) in fourth, Pedro Acosta (Red Bull Gas Gas tech 3) in fifth, Fabio Quartararo (Monster Energy Yamaha) in sixth, Maverick Vinales (Aprilia Racing) in seventh, Alex Rins (Monster Energy Yamaha) in eighth, Marco Bezzecchi (VR46) in ninth, A.Fernandez (Red Bull Gas Gas tech 3) at 10th.

The next few riders who completed the race were Johann Zarco (Castrol Honda) in 11th, Marc Marquez (Gresini Racing) in 12th, Aleix Espargaro (Aprilia Racing) in 13th, Franco Morbidelli (Prima Pramac racing) in 14th, Luca Marini (Repsol Honda) in 15th, R.Fernandezz (Trackhouse Racing) in 16th, A.Iannone (VR46) in 17th place, L.Savadori (Trackhouse Racing) in 18th. T.Nakagami and J.Mir retired mid-way through the race and Brad Binder and Jack Miller retired after the big crash at the start of the Malaysian Grand Prix race. In a few weeks, the final race will happen in Spain mostly in Barcelona which is yet to be confirmed.
