MotoGP Indonesia GP results: Jorge Martin Wins in Mandalika circuit for the first time, leads Bagnaia in title race

Jorge Martin of the Prima Pramac Racing team won the Indonesian GP after a losing the sprint race yesterday. Bagnaia and Acosta finished Second and third.

Jorge Martin won the Indonesian GP for the very first time after crashing out in the 2022 and 2023 races. He is now leading the driver's title by 21 points ahead of reigning world champion Francesco Bagnaia. The Ducati Lenovo teams rider finished third after his teammate Enea Bastianini Crashed out after a low side. He won the sprint race yesterday but today he had a bad start to the race causing him lose position. 

GasGas tech3 Racing teams Pedro Acosta finished second in the race. He is now under investigation for Tyre pressure change. The Prima Pramac rider lost in yesterdays Sprint race after crashing and finished 10th. But in the press, he said he would try to win the race by 4 seconds ahead of Bagnaia. 

'The Martinator' Show in Mandalika

J.Martin kept his word as he led Bagnaia from the start by 4+ seconds and ended his race triumphing the Ducati factory team rider. Bagnaia had a bad start as he lost his position he had to fight his way back to third position. GasGas tech 3 racing teams rider Pedro acosta finished second ahead of bagnaia after clinching his place in the start. The indonesian GP was very hard circuit as riders often feel their body is tested to their limits. Racing in the heat also causes riders to lose concentration. 

The race started with a crash from KTM's Jack Miller sliding in the second corner leading to chain of accidents taking out 3 other riders out of the race. Gresini racing team’s Alex Marquez was caught in the chaos at the start. Gresini racing’s day changed from bad to worse after Marc Marquez suffered an Engine blow and retired from the race. 

Ducati’s other rider Enea Bastianini who won the previous race at the Emilia Romagna GP crashed out after racing hard to move up the order. Morbidelli finished fourth while Bezzecchi finished fifth in the race. The final five spots with points is occupied by M.Vinales, F.Quartararo, B.Binder, J.Zarco and R.Fernandez. The other two riders who finished their races are T.Nakagami and A.rins. Riders who crashed out of the race are E. Bastianini, A. Fernandez, J.Mir, M.Marquez, F.di Giannantonio, A.Marquez, A.Espargaro, J.Miller, L.Marini. The next race will take place in japan next week.
