The Indonesian GP’s Tissot sprint race went for a twist as Pole leader Jorge Martin crashed out in the first lap of the race and reigning world champion Bagnaia took the win starting 4th in qualifying. His teammate Enea Batianini finished 2nd and Former World champion Marc Marquez finished 3rd from 12th which is one of the greatest comebacks in MotoGP sprint races.

Marquez all the way from 12th

Marquez crashed in Q2 and started 12th. But in the sprint race at the start, he came from 12th to 5th place. Marc Marquez is known for his aggressive driving and often crashing during races. This time his aggressive style has helped him claim the pole position alongside Ducati riders Bagnaia and Bastianini. Jorge Martin is very disappointed with the results he made after an outstanding qualifying session.

Pertamina Enduro VR46 racing Teams Bezzechi started from P2 and finished P4 after the sprint race. Pole leader Jorge Martin started P1 and crashed in the opening lap of the race and ended in P10 with no points in his bag. The fifth spot is taken by Franco Morbidelli while Pedro Acosta started third in the grid has moved backwards and taken 6th place. Maverick Vinales and Johann Zarco claimed the seventh and eighth spot while the final two spots in the top ten were taken by Fabio Di Giannantonio and Jorge Martin.

The final spots are taken by Jack Miller (11th), Fabio Quartararo (12th), Brad Binder (13th), Alex Marquez (14th), Alex Rins (15th), Alexi Espargaro (16th), Takaaki Nakagami  (17th), Luca Marini (18th), Raul Fernandez (19th), Augusto Fernandez and Joan Mir didn't complete the sprint.

The Mandalika GP race will happen tomorrow and will see Francesco Bagnaia, Enea Bastianini and Marc Marquez fighting for the pole position. But it's a MotoGP race so crashes are always expected and we can also see new riders standing in the podium tomorrow.
