Lewis Hamilton is driving his final two races for the Mercedes F1 team. The Qatar Grand prix is the penultimate race for him as a driver for Mercedes and next year he will be coming in a Red suit to race in Qatar. But before leaving the team Lewis wanted to give them some valuable points and a race win but he is still struggling to set pace in his car. His teammate George Russell was very impressive during the Qatar GP Sprint qualifying as he finished 2nd.

Hamilton was disappointed in himself.

Lewis Hamilton can only manage to finish seventh next to Max Verstappen. He wanted to give something to the team which gave him so much to celebrate but he was very disappointed as he couldn't reach that level. After the Sprint Race qualifying session, Lewis Hamilton met with the media and answered the questions. He said, “I'm just slow, same every weekend.” When asked about any positive things from the car Lewis replied “Not Particularly, the positive thing is that the car is fast. George may be able to shoot out for pole tomorrow.”

When asked about his pace Lews Hamilton added “Who knows I’m definitely not fast anymore.” The 7-time world champion looks like he lost confidence in himself as he can't make it to the pole position even with a fast car. The Mercedes cars were very fast in particular with the night races. Even during the Las Vegas GP Lewis Hamilton came from P10 to P2 which is an outstanding driving skill and ability. So we disagree with Lewis Hamilton saying he is not fast anymore.

Mercedes cars seem to perform very well in cold temperatures. So tomorrow could be the day for Lewis Hamilton to give the much-needed race win to the team from his side. The final race in Abu Dhabi will also be happening during the nighttime time, Mercedes still has a good opportunity to pull out something big for Hamilton’s farewell race with the team.
