Verstappen is happy with Red Bull

Max also had talks with Mercedes Boss Toto Wolff over a potential shift from Red Bull to Mercedes which Max’s father Jos verstappen dearly wanted, but the 4-time world champion remained loyal to the Austrian team. Verstappen said “Look, Im very happy with where I am. We’ve won another championship. Of course, improvements need to be made to the car, but I think that's very logical. So, I feel good with the team, I can be myself.”

When asked about Toto Wolff’s approach he said “The big teams are always very interesting, but on the other hand, I’m also in a very big team. I’ve achieved a lot of success with them. It also just feels like a second family. I am also very loyal to my own team. I am still very young, so a lot can still happen in the future.” The Dutch driver feels he achieved everything in Formula 1 which he aimed before coming to the sport. He is thinking about his future plans after his F1 career. Max wanted to try the endurance racing series like Le Mans 24, and GT3 championships.

He also plans to start his own GT3 team and could partner with Mercedes or Ferrari his biggest rivals in Formula 1. He added “I have multiple goals after Formula 1- endurance, my own team, there are a lot of things involved. And who are you going to do that with? A lot of teams Mercedes, Ferrari, Aston Martin, it doesnt even have to do with Formula 1 itself.

Red Bull, of course, they also do a lot outside of Formula 1. So, I’m keeping all options open there and, in the end, I’ll choose what I think is the best.” Max Verstappen has a clear plan in his mind moving forward. A guy like him will always follow their mind and his future is already planned.
