The 4-time world champion Max Verstappen is on the hunt for his fifth world title in the 2025 F1 season. His rivals McLaren, Ferrari and Mercedes have become stronger than ever in the final season of the hybrid era. So to keep his title, Max needs the ultimate machine to fight against his rivals.

Of course, Max Verstappen as a driver could make all the difference with his skills and racing talent. At the end of the day, only a good machine can help any driver to taste success. The Dutchman won his 4th title miraculously by dragging the third fastest car to the poles many times and his ultimate skill display came at the 2024 Brazilian Grand Prix where he showed he is the master of rain.

Red Bull didn't have any answers for his speed woes and just made the car drivable according to Verstappen’s needs. His teammate Sergio Perez couldn't recover but Max finished as a champion for which he has to be credited. Now everything will have to restart again this year and Red Bull is working very hard to regain their lost constructors championship to McLaren. They also made a big change in their driver lineup by firing perez and replacing him with Liam Lawson.

'It doesnt Matter'- Max Verstappen.

The world champion doesn't seem to have any concerns about his teammate rather he is concerned about the 2025 Red Bull car RB 21. Talking about this year's challenge Max verstappen said, “If we can get the car back to the front, the name in the other cockpit won't matter. I don’t have a crystal ball, but if we can rectify certain weaknesses over the winter, we’ll be back at the front. But I’m certainly not making any predictions here.”

Verstappen expects the 2025 season to be a five-way contest and sees Red Bull, McLaren, Mercedes, Ferrari and Aston Martin as the five teams fighting for the championship. He also spoke about the importance of narrowing down their car's weaknesses as last year the car lost its balance and was undrivable for many races.

Even Red Bull is not concerned about Liam Lawson’s performance that much as they have very low expectations with him. Team boss Helmut Marko already has some targets for Lawson this year and one of them was to bring as many points as possible to win the constructors title. Marko said, “He should be within three tenths of Max both in qualifying and in the race. That should be enough to get points for the constructors championship. He should be steadily increasing his performance- if possible.”
