Former Formula 1 boss Guenther Steiner joked about Hamilton winning the title for Ferrari next year. Ferrari has been battling for the Formula 1 World Championship since 2008. Kimi Raikkonen is the last driver who gave Ferrari its world title.

Post that Ferrari tried many times with many world-class drivers like Fernando Alonso, Sebastian Vettel, Raikkonen, and Massa, and no one could bring their world title back to Maranello. Now it's the biggest chance for Lewis Hamilton to end the title drought for Ferrari. After many years, Ferrari seems to have packed their 2025 team very strongly by signing Lewis Hamilton.

Lewis-Leclerc pair seems to be the strongest driver pair on the grid next season. Will they get the best car? It is up to the Maranello team. Hamilton’s move to Ferrari is the biggest news this year and the biggest in a decade. Former Haas F1 boss Guenther Steiner was asked about the motivation behind Hamilton moving to Ferrari, he said, “I think he wants to try to do the magic, to bring Ferrari back to winning championship and that, I think is his drive.”

He also jokingly said that if Hamilton wins his eighth Formula 1 title with Ferrari he will end up in the Vatican. He says, “I think Ferrari without Formula 1 is not Ferrari, and Formula 1 without Ferrari is not Formula 1.” Guenther also believes Lewis Hamilton and Ferrari boss Fred Vasseur worked together during Hamilton's junior days so they know each other very well. Ferrari missed the chance of signing the world’s greatest car designer Adrian Newey when he offered to move from Red Bull.

If Ferrari signed Adrian Newey along with Lewis Hamilton then it would have been the pair made in heaven. Ferrari would have been the unstoppable force in Formula 1 like good old times when Schumacher brought them back-to-back titles. But the British designer was signed by the Aston Martin F1 team and he will work alongside Fernando Alonso.
