Las Vegas Grand Prix turns three F1 Teams into Powerpuff Girls for a day

The Formula 1 teams use special liveries on special occasions like races or movie promotions. The Las Vegas GP has made 3 teams turn into Powerpuff Girls.

The Las Vegas Grand Prix will start tomorrow and many teams are getting ready for their challenge in the Sin City. Before that, some teams wanted to have a funny start to the weekend so they designed special liveries for the special city. Three Formula 1 teams have officially revealed new liveries specially made for the Casino capital.

VCARB, Alpine, and Stake F1 kick Sauber are the three teams embracing these specially designed liveries for the rest of the weekend. The three teams remind us of our favourite cartoon Power Puff Girls and bring back nostalgic childhood memories. Even the Alpine team joked about being the new ‘PowerGirlsgirls’ on the grid.

Alpine in full Pink (Blossom)

The French team opted to go all pink which glitters like ‘Blossom’. The team already changed their livery two times this year after starting the year with a carbon-based livery. During the Belgium Grand Prix, they raced with a Red livery promoting the release of Deadpool and Wolverine. In the United States Grand Prix Alpine came full orange to promote the Indiana Jones and the Great Circle movie. For the Final three races Alpine will turn into a complete pink livery in collaboration with BWT their prime sponsor.

VCARB goes sky blue (Bubbles)

The team has an American-based title sponsor VISA and Cash APP. So every American race is like a home race for the Italian team to perform.  Only five points are separating them from Alpine and Haas. The battle for sixth place in the constructors title is on and Las Vegas will be an important race for them.

RB uses Cash Apps, a Glitter Card-inspired theme which also reminds us about Sauber’s livery which was used between 1996 and 2005. The drivers Yuki Tsunoda and Liam Lawson will also wear special race suits and gear. It looks calm like ‘Bubbles’.

Sauber turns All green (Buttercup)

Sauber is the slowest team on the grid and they are yet to open the account with a point. Both their drivers didn't finish in the top ten all year and they are looking to score some points before they leave the team by the end of the year. They need some new motivation and that's why the team thought of giving them a new livery with flames giving us hot rod vibes. It also reminds us about the always angry ‘Buttercup’ in PoweGirls girls.
