'RedBull's Usual Story' -Yuki Tsunoda

He has been driving for the Red Bull team since 2021. Yuki Tsunoda is unlikely to be considered for the Red Bull seat and the Japanese driver said that is a usual story in the Red Bull family of him being not considered for the Red Bull seat. He said, “Some stories are already happening from when Daniel was my teammate. Liam came in and suddenly he was up. So, to be honest, it’s just the usual story in that team, or in the Red Bull family. I mean, it’s a usual story. It’s like part of the motorsport, Formula 1, especially our team. And it is what it is. I don’t really think about it.”

He feels he deserves the Red Bull seat alongside Max Verstappen 100% and it was up to Red Bull Management whether to consider him or not. Tsunoda says he is committed to destroying his teammate until Red Bull gives him the seat. He added, “There was a time that I probably started to get impatient, probably just before the summer break. But this thing, like I said, I recognise I can’t control. And, it’s just part of the life, this life. I just have to keep doing what I’m doing. I’m the one who’s racing still now and whoever they keep sending as a driver to beat me, whatever, I just keep destroying them so that’s what I’m going do.”

Yuki was part of the Honda racing group and he came with the support of the Honda group. Honda’s Partnership with Red Bull will be over by 2025 and after that Red Bull joins hands with the American manufacturer Ford. The young Japanese driver is confirmed for the next season but beyond that, he will be unlikely in the Red Bull group as Honda will move on with Aston Martin. If he doesnt get the seat in Red Bull by the 2025 season then Honda will push him with Aston Martin after the 2025 season. But until then Yuki needs to be ‘consistent’.
