One of the best and coolest teams out on the grid, Haas F1, has now banned their drivers Esteban Ocon and Oliver Bearman from racing. Don’t take it wrong, they will race in Formula 1, but other than that, they are not allowed to race. Formula 1 drivers are multiple talented personalities and apart from F1, they race in WEC adn WRC races that are different from what they are used to in F1. Max Verstappen, the four-time world champion, has recently raced in Nurburgring under the name ‘Franz Hermann’ and set a new lap record on the world’s most dangerous track.
Verstappen also owns his very own racing team, Verstappen.com Racing, and is planning to race in WEC tournaments once he retires from Formula 1. Many drivers are getting inspired by Max Vertsaoppen and want to try new things in life. In order to prevent that, the Haas F1 team has taken strict action by not allowing their drivers to compete in any other races or cars. Team principal Ayao Komatsu has his own reasons for not allowing Ocon and Bearman to try new cars.

Ayao Komatsu says 'NO' to Ocon and Bearman
He said, “No, Max is a multiple world champion, right? Oli is a rookie. Even Esteban, he’s got still has lots to prove. He’s focused. What is the benefit of them racing in another car? I think they’re pretty lucky that they are driving a Formula 1 car for their job. That’s lots of fun. I think.”
The Japanese team principal added, “Honestly, it’s busy enough, really. You know, in between these 24 races – it's not like we haven't got enough races, right? – They need to look after their physical condition mental condition. In between, they have to work with engineers, simulators. It's not like they're sitting at home thinking about what to do. So, I think they've got plenty on their hands.”
Komatsu also thinks Verstappen is doing great in WEC and F1 because he spends dozens of hours racing in the Sim, but Ocon and Bearman never tried it. Max’s experience at the WEC Sim racing championship will help him one day to compete in the 24 Hours of Le Mans. We also see him compete in the Indy 500 and achieve triple crowns and become the only Formula 1 driver after Legendary Graham Hill to become a triple crown winner.
