The MotoGP Practice session in Barcelona is over as the reigning world champion Francesco Bagnaia retains his torpedo speed against title contender Jorge Martin. The Practice session was led by VR 46 rider Marco Bezzecchi for the most part but in the final few minutes of the race, the Ducato rider gained the lead position.
Bagnaia back like a Torpedo
Most riders had issues with the turn 5 but Bagnaia cracked the turn with his impeccable driving and lap time. The Reigning champion is not giving up his title without a fight. Bagnaia set the fastest lap time of 1.38.919s. He is followed by a VR 46 rider Marco Bezzecchi who missed the lead by a ten-millionth of a second. Outgoing Aprilia rider Aleix Espargaro finished third ahead of Zarco and Championship leader Jorge Martin. Martin was also the fastest rider for some time but couldn't match his title rival Bagnaia and his Factory Ducati bike.

The sixth place was taken by Aprilia rider Maverick Vinales ahead of the two Gresini racing riders and brothers Alex Marquez and Marc Marquez who finished seventh and eighth. They were followed by Red Bull KTM Gas Gas Tech 3 rider Pedro Acosta in ninth and Ducati Factory rider Enea Bastianini in tenth.
Jack Miller did his best to settle in 11th for the KTM Factory team while FP1 pole leader Takaaki Nakagaami ended in 12th for the Idemitsu Honda LCR team. Yamaha riders Fabio Quartararo and Alex Rins finished 13th and 14th positions.

Jorge Martins Prima Pramax racing teammate Morbidelli finished 15th ahead of L.Marini and KTM rider Brad Binder who were 16th and 17th after the session. Repsol Honda rider Joan Mir had a crash and he finished 18th. The final 5 positions were taken by R. Fernandez, M. Oliveira, A. Fernandez, M. Pirro, and S.Bradl.
Tomorrow will be Free Practice 2 followed by qualifying sessions and the Sprint race. The Sprint race will be very crucial for the championship winning as Jorge Martin will try his best to finish ahead of Francesco Bagnaia to clinch his first-ever MotoGP world title.
