Formula 1 is set to make history with a grand-scale season launch featuring all 10 teams and drivers at London’s iconic O2 Arena on February 18, 2025. In a first for the sport, this extravaganza will include live entertainment and be broadcast globally for fans unable to attend in person. Tickets, priced between £58 and £113 ($74 to $144), will go on sale starting November 15. This ticketed event reflects the increasing demand from fans who want to engage with the championship beyond the track.

In a statement, F1 CEO Stefano Domenicali expressed his excitement about the unique launch format, which will gather all 20 drivers, each considered a "superstar of the sport," alongside special guests. Domenicali highlighted the event’s historical significance, saying, "For the first time, we will bring together our fans, all 20 superstars of our sport, and some extraordinary guests to officially kick off our new season and mark our 75th year of racing."

A game changer event for Formula 1!

Traditionally, Formula 1 teams reveal their new car liveries individually, often through factory events or virtual launches, with media, sponsors, and select fans in attendance. However, this centralized launch at the O2 breaks with tradition, offering a unique opportunity for fans to see every team, car, and driver in one location.

For the legendary Ferrari team, the only team to have competed in every championship season, this season's launch marks a fresh era. In 2025, the team will showcase Britain’s seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton as he joins Ferrari from Mercedes, generating great anticipation for the iconic duo’s collaboration.

The upcoming season will also see an influx of young talent on the grid. Newcomers include Oliver Bearman at Haas, Kimi Antonelli at Mercedes, Jack Doohan at Alpine, and Gabriel Bortoleto at Sauber, each bringing fresh excitement to the sport. The 2025 season will also be the last under the current engine regulations, adding another layer of significance to this anniversary year.
