The 7-time Formula 1 world champion Lewis Hamilton made 7 billion dollars in a single just with one single move. The title may be exaggerating but it is real as you see the numbers. This year Lewis Hamilton made a shocking announcement that brought those 7 billion dollars to the table. The Mercedes driver announced that he will be leaving the Silverstone-based team and will move to the Maranello-based team Ferrari in 2025 over a multi-year deal. The ‘Silver Arrows’ are the team that brought him 6 world titles and made him the GOAT.

Nobody thought Lewis Hamilton would go away from the Mercedes team. Many thought Hamilton would end his Formula 1 career with Mercedes. But the GOAT had other ideas as he wanted to explore some more and this time with the oldest team in the Formula 1 grid Ferrari.

After the announcement, Ferrari's stock prices went up the sky which earned the Italian company a mind-boggling 6.92 billion dollars and that too in a single day. The Ferrari company's stock grew 6 percent. Ferrari has a long-standing Formula 1 championship drought which they see to end by signing Hamilton.

Usually, a race driver enters a team and after winning some races people start to invest in the team and the team grows. But Lewis Hamilton is the GOAT F1 driver so even before wearing a Red Suit he brought the Red Team 7 billion dollars of investment. What is more interesting is that Ferrari signed Lewis for a 426-million-dollar contract. But the British driver has earned them 6.92 billion dollars instead. This means Lewis Hamilton is signed for free and he will also give Ferrari some billion dollars for free.

This is the greatest thing that ever happened to Ferrari in their entire Formula 1 career. Even Mercedes which gave Lewis Hamilton everything he has now didn't enjoy these kinds of Luxury. The 7-time world champion will drive alongside Charles Leclerc which makes them the strongest pair in the Formula 1 grid next year.

Hamilton who is already a 7-time world champion gone too far in popularity as many compare him with the World’s biggest sports icons like Muhammad Ali, Maradona, Pele, Michael Jordan, and Usain Bolt. It's now in the hands of the Ferrari team about how to use the world champion and bring him his 8th world title wearing red.
