Formula 1 releases power rankings of British Grand Prix 2024

Formula 1 has released the power rankings after the end of the British Grand Prix 2024. The hometown champion Lewis Hamilton has dominated the rankings as expected. The star driver has gained the highest ratings for his maiden win in Britain since 2021. With an incredible rating of 9.4, Lewis sits at the top of the rankings comfortably.

Nico Hulkenberg had the race of his life and came close to Hamilton. he got Haas back in the top 3 and claimed the second spot. The German bagged a rating of 9.2. In the third spot was Max Verstappen who had a good race despite the crash. the Red Bull driver bagged a rating of 8.6. Though it is not by Max's standards, it was good considering the crash.

There were three drivers who had a photo finish with the same timings. McLaren's Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris finished fourth along with Alex Albon from Williams Racing. All three of them had a rating of 8.2. The race showed a massive improvement from McLaren in the last few months. They have been in the top 5 in both of the last two GPs. 

Ferrari, Aston Martin, and RB Formula One find themselves in the top 10

George Russell bagged the seventh spot in the Formula 1 power rankings. The Mercedes driver was the other driver from his team to be in the top 10. He claimed a good rating of 7.8. Two drivers were tied for the eighth spot. The likes of Yuki Tsunoda and Carlos Sainz finished just right in the top 10. They got decent results for their team.

The RB Formula One team got back into the top 10, thanks to the Japanese driver. Sainz was the only driver from Ferrari to be in the top 10. The duo bagged a rating of 7.2. Lance Stroll managed to finish in the tenth spot. The Aston Martin driver bagged a rating of 7.0 and saved the reputation of his team.
