On the sidelines of the ongoing Formula 1 season, the World Motor Sport Council held a meeting. The council sat and finalized the schedule of the 75th season of the World Championship. The 2025 F1 season will have 24 GP races with no new additions. Notably, from 2024 the number of race weekends had increased to 24.

The 2025 season will start with the Australian GP in Melbourne from the 14th to the 16th of March. After six years the Albert Park circuit will host the season opener after hosting same in 2019. The Bahrain GP will take place as the fourth race of the season to avoid collision with the holy month of Ramadan.

Apart from these some other important GPs will take place as follows. The British Grand Prix will be held from July 4th-6th and the Belgian GP will take place on weekends of 27th July. There is a three-week-long gap between Belgian and British GP to accommodate Wimbledon finals which is on July 13th.

Abu Dhabi to host the final race of the season!

The final race of the 75th World Championship season will be held in Abu Dhabi from December 5th to 7th. However, in the upcoming season, there will be only one Saturday race which will take place in Las Vegas on November 22nd. Notably, this year there were two Saturday races one in Saudi Arabia and the other in Bahrain all due to the holy month of Ramadan.

Throughout the racing season, there will be three sets of three races in a row, with Las Vegas, Qatar, and Abu Dhabi hosting one set. Additionally, there will be five pairs of races held back-to-back and five single races. The specific places for the six Sprint races will be announced later.
