Fernando Alonso has gotten a new race car from Aston Martin. The star driver took to X and shared his happiness regarding the special car. While Fernando claimed it to be the best road-legal car in the country, the fans noted that Adrian Newey might have prepared it. The new car has made headlines despite the rumours of the Red Bull manager's move to Aston Martin.

Aston Martin's official handle took to X and in a video posted about the new car. Fernando Alonso reacted to it as an acknowledgement. Alonso claimed himself to be a proud owner of the special car. He felt it was a privilege for him to work for his brand. "The day has arrived! 🤩 I am a proud owner of the best road-legal car on the planet. What a privilege to work for this brand. 💚," wrote Alonso on X.

Fernando signed a contract with Aston Martin in 2023. The 42-year-old has claimed some crucial points for them since then in multiple races. He claimed a total of eight podium finishes in the 2023 season. While he was able to finish in the top 10 in all the races till the Miami Grand Prix, he has fallen down the radar since then.

While Alonso was hoping to return to his form, Aston Martin might have a piece of massive news. Adrian Newey is rumoured to be switching from Red Bull to Martin. It could be one of the biggest moves in Formula 1. Amidst the rumours, one of the fans took to X and claimed that the new car of Alonso was designed by none other than Adrian Newey himself.

"Something quite poetic about all the news of Adrian Newey to Aston coming out only for Alonso's Newey-designed Aston Martin Valkyrie to break down in the middle of the road the same day," claimed the fan. It is to be seen if Aston Martin will be able to get the Red Bull manager onboard.
