Four-time Formula 1 world champion Max Verstappen shocked his rival by entering a new racing series as a wild card entry. He will start his new racing campaign that is away from Formula 1 championship. The Dutchman is always very fond of racing and he is always seen racing in many Esports series.
He will now participate in the IMSA Esports Global Championship final at the Daytona Circuit as a wildcard entry. Max will be racing in the virtual racing competition for the first time apart from F1 racing. As Verstappen prepares for his Formula 1 title defence in 2025 these kinds of racing series will be like a warmup for him.

Max was one of the best simulator drivers and a huge gamer. He often Twitch streams his gaming videos and is part of the Team Redline. He participates as a member of the team Red Line and will partner Gustavo Ariel in a Vertsappen.com Racing Acura ARX-06 GTP car that he tested in the real world during the Las Vegas Grand Prix.
The Daytona International Speedway was recently added to the competition by the IMSA. It will take place for two hours and 40 minutes. The race can be watched on iRacing YouTube channels. Max Verstappen shocked everyone last year when he raced for Redline just hours before the Hungarian Grand Prix.

He won the 24-hour Spa event alongside Diogo C Pinto. Max raced until 3 am in the morning and Many questioned the dutchmans commitment to Formula 1. But his boss Christian Horner came in for his rescue and said “He knows exactly what’s required in a Grand Prix and we trust his judgement. I think people conclude."
Horner added, "He knows what it takes to drive a Grand prix car, win Grand Prix, and be a world champion.” The 27-year-old world champion is very interested in gaming, especially in Endurance racing. He often speaks about his retirement from Formula 1 and trying Endurance competitions. This year he will be fighting for his fifth world championship title.
