Ajith Kumar Racing makes India proud: Finishes third in debut 24h Endurance Championship

Ajith Kumar Racing team finished third on their maiden 24-hour endurance racing that happened in Dubai Autodrome. They became the first Indian team to achieve this feat.

Indian Endurance racing team 'Ajith Kumar Racing' made India proud by finishing third in the 24-hour Dubai Endurance race in the 992 Category. The team owner was the Indian actor and a big superstar Ajith Kumar. Ajith started his career as a racer before becoming an actor. Due to his film commitments, he stayed away from full-time racing all these years. But right now he has got the opportunity to try the toughest races on the globe the 24h Endurance championship.

The First leg of the championship happened in Dubai at the Dubai Autodrome circuit. Ajith Kumar Racing team by Bas Koeten is participating under the 992 category with a Porsche car. Being the team owner Ajith is also racing as a lead driver along with others like Cameroon, Detry and Fabian.

Finished Third in Dubai Endurance

Before the race started, Ajith Kumar stepped down as the driver following a shunt during the practice session. The crash was massive but the actor didn't even get a scratch and came out of the car without any issues. He wanted his team to be independent and needed more time to observe how the competition works. His selfless act has now given him one of his biggest achievements and that was finishing third in the 992 category.

But Ajith also raced as a driver for the Razoon team in a Porsche Cayman GT4 Number 414. During the race, the team faced several technical and fuel issues. After 24 hours of hard racing, the team achieved a third-place finish and made India proud. Out of love for Ajith, many Indian fans who had never seen endurance racing went to the race track. They also enjoyed seeing the Endurance race for the first time and were proud of the Indian racing team's achievement. The actor and racer went to the podium carrying an Indian flag in his hands and waved towards the fans that was a goosebumps moment.

The race commentators and the other teams were astonished with the crowd and fans cheering for Ajith and they even compared the actor with Valentino Rossi and Brad Pitt. Ajith Kumar Racing has made India proud on the Global stage with their podium finish. The next race will happen in Abu Dhabi, which is the Middle Eastern championship's second and final race.
