FP3 Session Summary

The Free Practice session 3 of the 2025 Monaco GP started with the McLaren driver setting the fastest lap time. But Ferrari came back strong with Charles Leclerc leading the table with his teammate finishing on number 2. Red Bull Racing has found a good setup for the Monaco circuit, which helped Max Verstappen extract more pace from his car.

The Dutch driver set the fastest lap time while his teammate Yuki Tsunoda got similar numbers. In doing so, he had a near-miss incident with Red Bull's Junior driver Isack Hadjar inside the tunnel, and without any drama, Tsunoda politely accepted his mistake. The third sector was difficult for almost all the drivers due to the track temperature. Max Verstappen and Lance Stroll are the only two drivers who used Medium tyres while the rest of the grid used Soft ones.

Verstappen setting the fastest lap time using slower medium tyres was outstanding. In the final few minutes, Lewis Hamilton had an unusual crash near the casino square as he crashed sideways into the barriers. The two cars at the front gave Hamilton no room while he was on his outlap, and to avoid crashing, he crashed into the barriers. The next will be the qualifying session later today, and we are excited to see which teams use mediums as they are looking faster on this track.
