Charles Leclerc (2024) - First win in 93 years

He is the first Monegasque driver to win the Monaco Grand Prix in 93 years. Charles Leclerc’s bad luck chased him for a very long time in Monaco, and only last year he broke the jinx and clinched victory. Everything was perfect for him, and he triumphed after starting from the pole position. Leclerc’s win will be forever remembered as one of the greatest home victories in F1. 

Max Verstappen (2023)- Pure Dominance

Red Bull’s best-ever Formula 1 season was in 2023, as they showed pure dominance in every race. The Austrian team won 20 races out of 21 races that season, with Verstappen winning 19 of them. The Dutch driver started from pole, beating Fernando Alonso by a tiny margin. In the main race, he continued his domination, and with Red Bull’s brilliant strategy, he won the Monaco GP. 

Sergio Perez (2022) - A Mexican Hurricane

Again, a Red Bull driver was the victor, but this time it was the Mexican driver Sergio Perez who triumphed in Monaco. Sergio Perez started in P3 behind the two Ferrari drivers, Charles Leclerc (P1) and Carlos Sainz (P2). The race was interrupted by rain and multiple VSCs, which helped Red Bull to successfully overcut the two Ferraris. In the end, Sergio Perez won his first-ever Monaco Grand Prix. 

Max Verstappen (2021) - First Monaco victory

In his first championship-winning season, Max Verstappen won his first Monaco GP. It was the best season in many years as the competition between Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton was intense. Winning in Monte Carlo will be an advantage in the championship fight. Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc clinched the pole position ahead of Max and Bottas. But a mechanical failure in his left driveshaft has pushed him out of the race. So Verstappen started as a de facto pole sitter and won the race. 

Lewis Hamilton (2019) - Last Mercedes victory

The 2019 season was one of the greatest years for the Mercedes F1 team as they dominated the entire F1 grid with their AMG F1 W10 car. Hamilton was fighting against the two Ferrari drivers, Leclerc and Vettel. He started in pole position ahead of his teammate Bottas and Verstappen. Lewis Hamilton won from the pole position, and it remains the last Monaco GP victory for the Mercedes F1 team.
