One huge F1 fan from England has now turned down a 10 million euro offer for his F1 number-plated Mercedes SLR McLaren and Bugatti Veyron.
Afzal Khan is a businessman and a big Formula 1 fan since his childhood. He was so passionate about racing and in 2008 he acquired an ‘F1’ number plate from Essex County.
He bought the special number plate for around 440,625 euros which was the biggest ever investment for a number plate in UK history till now.
In all these years, F1 has grown to a different level and is now the biggest Motor racing championship in the world. In these 17 years, the value of his number plate has been doubled and the owner still doesn’t wish to sell his plate.
10 Million Euros offer rejected
Afzal Khan received an offer of 6 million euros in 2013 but he rejected it. In 2018 his Number plate was offered 10 million euros but to everyone’s surprise, he rejected it again. From 2008 to 2018 the number plate value has increased nearly 21 times but still, the owner doesnt wish to sell it.
Not only F1, Mr Khan has 60+ unique registration numbers that can earn him millions like 1 NVV, 4 AK, NO 4 and K4 AHN. His '4 HRH' number-plated Mercedes Benz was also offered 1 million euros. But among all F1 is the favourite number plate for Mr Khan and he doesn't wish to sell it for any cost.
