Formula 1 title contender Lando Norris has just added a Ferrari car to his all-car collection. He was also seen recently in Monaco driving a sexy Black Ferrari car just like his friend and rival Charles Leclerc. The Ferrari F40 is one of the very few Ferrari cars reaching an iconic status in the car world.
Lando has some taste to buy this Iconic car adding more fuel to fire. He is driving for the McLaren Team in Formula 1 and he is buying Ferrari cars. He was also spotted in Monaco driving a Ferrari car. So what is in the mind of the Championship contender?

Loyalty for McLaren, Love for Ferrari
The answer is simple his Loyalty and his Mind are with McLaren. But his heart is for the Ferrari cars. Driving in Formula 1 makes normal road driving feel slow for the Formula 1 drivers. As the legend Niki Lauda said once “If you are not getting paid for driving fast, then why do you risk yourself driving fast.”

But the huge chunk they get as a salary should not be wasted sleeping in their banks. The drivers spend huge money adding iconic cars to their collections and occasionally take them for a ride whenever they get a weekend off.
Landi Norris already has some of the world's most celebrated retro cars of the past. He has an old iconic Land Rover Defender, a Fiat 500, a Lamborghini Miura, and his team's most powerful car the McLaren 765LT Spider. Now he bought the retro Ferrari F40 and added it to his garage.
The Ferrari car was launched in 1987 to celebrate Ferrari’s 40th anniversary in car production. It was the last model came under the Founder Enzo Ferrari’s Supervision. The car was sold until 1992 and over 1,311 cars were built making it one of the rarest cars in the world.
It has a 2.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine. It can reach 0-100KMPH in 4.2 seconds and a top speed of 323KMPH can be achieved. The body is full of Kevlar, Carbon fibre and aluminium. Even the painting was very thin to reduce the kerb weight. It is just 1,100 kg which helps with its acceleration and speed.
