What did Leclerc achieve driving for Ferrari?
- The 2019 season was not great for the veteran Sebastian Vettel but the debutant Charles Leclerc grabbed his momentum from the first race and was more consistent in bringing podium points for Ferrari. He completely dominated his teammate Vettel throughout the season.
- He won his first race for Ferrari at the 2019 Belgium Grand Prix where he dominated Mercedes driver and then world champion Lewis Hamilton to finish at the top of the podium.
- In the same season, Charles Leclerc achieved something his teammate Sebastian Vettel was trying to do for so long. He won the Italian Grand Prix for Ferrari after a 9-year drought since Fernando Alonso won in 2010.
- Charles made history by winning the 2024 Monaco GP to become the only Monegasque driver to win the Monaco GP since Louis Chiron who won his home race in 1931. Monaco which is very famous for its race and often called the ‘crown jewel’ of the sport was in complete joy after Leclerc gave them an opportunity to celebrate.
- Winning a race for Ferrari in Italy is one of the glorious things to achieve. Charles Leclerc achieved this feat for the second time in the 2024 season for Ferrari. He started fourth in the race and finished first dominating the two McLarens.
