The Ferrari team secured a 3-4 finish in the recently concluded Las Vegas Grand Prix. Their driver Carlos Sainz was outstanding during the night and was flying ahead of everyone. Even Max verstappen couldn't hold a chance against the Spaniard as he went past him in the last 10 laps of the race.
What started the team war?
Hadn't he pitted 2 laps, earlier Carlos Sainz would have led Lewis Hamilton and would have fought for the win against George Russell. His teammate Charles Leclerc finished 4th behind Carlos and was not happy about it. He fumed over the team radio after the race about being nice and respectful for the sake of the team which gives back nothing to him. He was interrupted by team boss Fred Vasseur and even then the Mongaque was not happy about it.
The Spaniard was faster than Leclerc and he attacked him for the third place during the race which Charles Leclerc didn't like that much. Leclerc is standing third in the drivers points behind Lando Norris. Carlos took three valuable points away from Charles Leclerc in the Las Vegas Grand Prix.

Fuming Over the Radio

Charles Leclerc went for a Pit stop and after that when entering the track his race engineer said, “Carlos has been told to not overtake but it is really close, you might be just in front. He has been told to not put you under pressure. So just take care of your tyres” But sainz didn't follow the rules and he overtook Leclerc. For that, Leclerc replied, “Maybe try in Spanish.” Leclerc scored 12 points which could have been 18 points if Sainz had obeyed the team's orders. After the race, he was fuming over the team radio launching the F-bomb all around the corners.

He said, “Being nice F***ks me all the F**king time. It's not even being nice, it's just being respectful." Leclerc also assured me he won't be again respectful at the Qatar Grand prix. He said, “I'm not happy about Carlos, but I won't go into details. Why? Because we talk about these things before the race, and I’m always the only one who respects those agreements. From now on I will be thinking about myself only. It's a shame that I couldn't get more points on Norris.”
What's the issue?
The Las Vegas Grand Prix is a nightmare for both the Ferraris. Leclerc first tried to attack George Russel and doing so lost his rubber to the ground. Carlos sainz was faster than Leclerc and he allowed his teammate to pass. After the Pitstop Leclerc expected the same from Sainz but the Spaniard disobeyed the team's orders and didn't let Charles pass him and ended up on the podium. There are still two races left and we can see a teammate brawl very soon between the two Ferrari drivers.
