WATCH: Alpine doing a Sh***t Show for Ocon in Las Vegas Grand prix, where no pit crew present during the pit stop

After securing a 2-3 podium finish in Brazil’s Interlagos circuit, the French Formula 1 team Alpine was in full positivity for the Las Vegas Grand prix. The Nevada Street circuit will test the real talent and pure skills of the drivers same as the Singapore circuit. The drivers also need some good strategic help from their teams to secure a win or some valuable points. Alpine’s race strategy in Las Vegas is below average compared with the Brazilian GP. Pierre Gasly was phenomenal in securing a podium finish for the team after qualifying.

Miserable weekend for Alpine

Though he had a bad start and lost position to Carlos Sainz he was still running incredibly well. Then there hit the biggest upset for him. He reported a loss of power over the team radio which eventually ended his Las Vegas GP race. But the Mysery for the French team continued with their other driver Esteban Ocon. He was behind Haas driver Nico Hulkenberg and his race engineer told him to do the opposite of Hulkenberg. Hulkenberg continued on the track, so Ocon pitted.

After entering the Pits the French man was shocked to see no pit crew there to accompany him with some new tyres. He went straight out of the pits and again re-entered the pit after completing one full lap. In this miserable strategy, Ocon lost valuable time and points to his rivals as he entered the pits twice. Alpine have thrown themselves into the mud after failing in both strategy and giving a good car for the drivers.

He will be very thankful to god as he is leaving the French team next year and joining Haas. Before the Las Vegas Grand prix Alpine were right ahead of the Haas F1 team in 6th place in the constructor's championship. But the Alpine’s own Sh***t Show put them back to 7th behind the American team.  Haas team is in 6th place with 50 points ahead of Alpine with 49 points. The RB team is also catching up with 46 points in P8 behind the French team.
