AJ Foyt Racing join hands with ABC Supply to raise USD 4 million for 'Homes for Our Troops' organization

As the month to May brings Military Appreciation Month, IndyCar franchise AJ Foyt Racing and ABC Supply join hands to conduct a fundraiser. They have set the goal to raise 4 million US Dollars to support the Homes for Our Troops organization.

Until May 31, ABC Supply pledges to match the initial $1 million in contributions to Homes For Our Troops. They have also revealed the mode for donation as one can donate at hfotusa.org/donate. Speaking about it HFOT President and CEO, Brigadier General (Ret) Tom Landwermeyer thanked ABC Supply. 

“We are grateful and honoured that ABC Supply has chosen to spotlight Homes For Our Troops for another year during the 2024 Indy 500. Their generous $1 million match furthers our mission of Building Homes and Rebuilding Lives and enables us to get even more severely injured post-9/11 Veterans and their families into the specially adapted custom homes they need and deserve”, he said in a statement. 

Can Santino Ferrucci repeat last year’s heroics?

It’s worth noting that in 2023 Indy 500Santino Ferrucci finished third in the fundraiser race. His amazing performance helped AJ Foyt Racing to take another pledge. Speaking about the same in the statement team president Larry Foyt said that it will be a challenge to win again. 

“Finishing third last year has set the bar high for us, but we believe the team and Santino Ferrucci will be challenging for the win again. It is exciting to be part of this campaign to raise awareness and funds to support Homes For Our Troops, which has made such a positive difference in the lives of America's severely injured post-9/11 Veterans”, says Foyt in a statement. 

It’s worth noting that last year, ABC Supply raised over $3 million for HFOT. Now, they're aiming to raise an extra $4 million this year to help more veterans who need these homes. Notably, HFOT is one of the best charities for veterans.

They make sure almost 90 cents out of every dollar goes straight to helping veterans. This year marks their 20th anniversary, and they've already built and given 379 custom homes to severely injured post-9/11 Veterans across the country.
