Indian superstar and Tamil actor Ajith Kumar has won the Mugello 12h championship podium. He won the podium along with his teammates Fabian and Mathieu. Ajith Kumar Racing team drivers finished on the podium securing a third-place finish. The team raced under the Porsche 911 GT3 category and was very impressive from the first session. They were constantly in P4 and in the final session they moved up one place and finished P3.
This is the first time an Indian team secured a Podium finish in the Mugello circuit. Earlier this year the team won third place in their maiden race at the 24h Dubai 2025 championship. After that, Ajith Kumar competed in the Sprint challenge in Valencia where he had twobig crashes.
This month he went to Mugello for the 12h Championship and has now secured a Podium finish with his teammates Fabian Duffieux and Mathieu Detry. The race happened under rain and completely wet conditions, but the three drivers displayed immense talent and composure to keep the car moving and secure the podium for the team. Their next race is happening on an F1 track in Belgium.
Ajith Kumar wins the podium.
The team celebrated their podium finish by posting on their social media “That’s another podium for Ajith Kumar Racing in Europe for the @24hseries 12h of Mugello 🏁🔥🚀🏆P3 in the 992 AM category for our 3 lions 🚨Next stop Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium for the 12h of Spa.”
The next race will be at Spa Francorchamps, which is also a Formula 1 track that was used for the Belgium Grand Prix. It was also the home grand prix of reigning F1 world champion Max Verstappen. It is a high-speed racing track having dangerous corners like the First Corner, Eau Rogue and the Kemmel straight. But racing is all about fun and thrill and we wish Ajith Kumar to carry the same success and momentum to Spa and win another podium, fly the Indian flag high and make our country proud again.
