The world title fight is on between Max Verstappen and Lando Norris and it's nearing its end as Verstappen can seal his fourth title with a win in the Las Vegas Grand Prix. Verstappen displayed one of the finest ever racing skills of his career and won the Brazilian Grand Prix last weekend.

For the last 10 races, Verstappen hasn't won any of them and Lando Norris completely dominated the Dutch driver for the better part of the weekend. But all of a sudden rain changed everything and Verstappen showed why he is the three-time world champion by putting a masterclass in the rain-hit Brazil circuit. 

Lando Norris started in the pole position but couldn't pull off the win as the team strategy backfired and he went down after the race restart. After winning the Brazil GP Max Verstappen is very near to take his fourth world title. He is now in a commanding position with a 62-point lead.

Max Verstappen can win the 2024 world title in the Las Vegas Grand Prix in 9 different ways. The Main thing is if he finishes ahead of Norris, he takes the title home. Let's take a look at the 9 scenarios.

1. If Verstappen finishes ahead of Norris in Las Vegas.
2. If Norris is second and Max is third with the fastest lap.
3. If Norris is Third and Max fourth with the fastest lap.
4. If Norris is fourth Max is fifth and Norris is without the fastest lap.
5. If Norris is fifth without the fastest lap and Max at sixth.
6. If Norris is sixth without the fastest lap and Max at seventh.
7. If Norris is seventh without the fastest lap and Max at eighth.
8. If Norris is eighth without the fastest lap and Max at ninth.
9. If Norris is Ninth without the fastest lap or lower.

Norris needs to score three points more than Verstappen at any cost in Vegas to keep his title fight alive and move to Qatar. There are only 60 points left for grabs and even if they end up in a tie Verstappen will win the title as he won eight races in the season to Norris’s three wins.

4. Finishing fourth with the fastest lap and Verstappen fifth or below.

6. Finishing sixth with the fastest lap and Verstappen in seventh or below.
7. Finishing seventh with the fastest lap and Verstappen in eighth or below.
8. Finishing eighth with the fastest lap and Verstappen in ninth or below.
9. Finishing ninth with the fastest lap and Verstappen lower than 11
