Gresini Racing rider Alex Marquez won his first-ever MotoGP British GP sprint race, beating his brother Marc Marquez. Fabio Di Giannantonio finished in P3.

The MotoGP British Grand Prix Sprint is over, and Alex Marquez clinched the podium victory against his brother Marc Marquez and VR46 rider Fabio Di Giannantonio. Fabio Quartararo was completely outpaced by the Ducati riders, Alex and Marc. As VR46 rider Giannantonio attacked Quartararo, the French rider was pushed back to P7. The Yamaha rider lost the sprint race but will start from pole in tomorrow's main race.

At the start of the race, Fabio Quartararo lost position to the Ducati riders Alex Marquez, Marc Marquez and Francesco Bagnaia. The Yamaha rider was fighting against Fabio di Giannantonio, who was charging from behind. Marc Marquez was attacking his brother Alex, but the Gresini Racing rider showed grit and defended his position throughout the race. The Ducati rider also made a mistake at the Village corner that cost him his lead against his brother.
Alex Marquez was quicker in the corners and had more control over his bike. Quartararo fought against the Ducatis from behind and could only manage to finish in P7. With this victory, Alex Marquez reduced the lead of his brother, and he will now fight for the championship lead in tomorrow's main race.
