'You're not paying attention...' - Paul Heyman gives Cody Rhodes his flowers

Paul Heyman gave Cody Rhodes his flowers in a recent interview. The Wiseman claimed Cody to be a hard-working individual and added him to have hit it out of the park every week. Paul said Cody had not delivered a bad performance since returning to WWE. He felt the American Nightmare had to be given his flowers.

"That man has worked so hard, so tirelessly, and so magnificently, and has hit it out of the park consistently 52 weeks of the year and has never struck out," said Heyman in the interview. The wiseman added that he had never seen Cody Rhodes being lacklustre or resting on his laurels.

"Not once have I seen a bad performance from Cody Rhodes. Not once have I seen him lackluster. Not once have I seen him rest on his laurels—If you can't give that man his flowers right now, you're not paying attention," added Heyman in the interview. His statement has gotten a positive reaction from the fans.

Cody Rhodes' return to WWE

Cody returned to WWE at WrestleMania 38 and took on Seth Rollins. Their feud was brilliant, and Cody got a great leverage heading into the main event scene. In 2023, Cody won the Men's Royal Rumble and went on to challenge the OTC for the world title at WrestleMania 39, which he lost.

Rhodes then had a feud with Brock Lesnar until Summerslam. He won it and had a small feud with Shinsuke Nakamura. Cody became only the fourth wrestler to win back-to-back Royal Rumbles. He went on to headline the main event of WrestleMania XL on both nights.

On Night One, he and Seth lost to The Rock and Roman Reigns. On Night 2, he ended Roman's record world title reign of 1316 days and has been the world champion since then. His current feud has been against Kevin Owens. Having been against Cody in the last couple of years, Heyman gave him the flowers and explained why he deserved to be credited.
