A video of Triple H giving Cody Rhodes a mysterious gift was uploaded on December 11, WWE fans began to speculate.On the upcoming Saturday Night's Main Event special, which returns on December 14th, the American Nightmare will challenge Kevin Owens for the title. In addition to using retro themes and visuals to advertise the event, there have been rumors that the entire show will go back in time to honor the 1985-launched specials.
In that video, Triple H is seen with Cody Rhodes and he mentions that Saturday Night's Main Event will be vintage, referring to Jesse Ventura's impending comeback. After mentioning the case that is in the room with them, the chief content officer tells Rhodes that he has gotten him something for the show. Rhodes's face brightens and a gold reflection appears as he opens the case. Triple H, meanwhile, left WWE fans wondering what would be inside the gift by leaving it open-ended and stating that it was "for one night only."

As per some reports Cody Rhodes has been in the forefront of the heated backstage debate regarding the Winged Eagle Title's comeback.
