WWE has been releasing a series of wrestlers as they usually do. During WWE Smackdown, the likes of Paul Ellering, Authors of Pain, Cedric Alexander, Sonya Deville, and Blair Davenport were released. Four more wrestlers have joined the list despite having a huge potential. While some of them were not used properly by the company, others were unfortunate as the creative team did not have plans for them.

While they lost the belt at the WWE Bash in Berlin, the duo was still among the best tag teams in the world. A lack of screen time from there did not help Alba and Isla.
