Fans disappointed by Wes Lee's release
The likes of Jin Tala, Drako Knox, Haze Jameson, Summer Sorrell, Brayden "BJ" Ray, and Jamar Hampton are said to have been released, as per the reports from Fightful Select and Bodyslam. Fans have expressed their disappointment with these talent cuts, especially with that of Wes Lee, who had a fine run in NXT before his hiatus in late 2023 and the first half of 2024.
Lee's return in 2024 was great and some of his initial matches in the year received good reaction from the fans. However, he later turned on Zachary Wentz, which wasn't too compelling. His heel turn went nowhere and the creative team could not come up with better ideas for him.
