WWE Raw opening round results King and Queen of Ring tournaments kick off

WWE is getting down to business one night after a successful WWE Backlash 2024. Notably, the WWE superstars have returned to the US after a trip to Lyon, France. The opening round of the kings and queens has already commenced on May 6. All the round-one matches have been official, with no major changes this time.

Jey Uso vs. Finn Balor, King of the Rings Opening Round Game

Notably, Balor had a great early advantage, but Jey Uso hit an uppercut. The two men rolled on the mat before Balor hit a basement dropkick. Later, Jey Uso dumps Finn Balor to the outside.

IYO SKY vs. Natalya, Queen of the Ring Opening Round Game

Natalya used her ground skills early, rolling into a leglock. However, she went to the sharpshooter, but IYO found her. IYO later went on for a moonsault, but Natalya moved out of the way. Natalya landed Superplex, but Sky got her shoulder up. IYO locked in a submission, but later Natalya powered out and went for a roll-through pin.
